Lijiang - 1er jour

Lundi 9 juillet.

Pour commencer la journée (sous la pluie), on a pris le bus à 8h30 en direction du nord, vers la ville de Lijiang, capitale du pays Naxi de 300 000 habitants, située à 170km de là. J’ai pu mettre les quatre heures de bus qui ont suivi à profit pour rédiger les articles des 3 derniers jours (j'avais un peu de retard), donc c’est passé assez vite^^. Un seul point notable sur la route (si on fait abstraction des magnifiques plateaux traversés), le lavage (au jet d’eau) du bus à mi-parcours lors de la pause pipi, qui de un n’était pas franchement utile, et de deux à fait plaisir à ceux qui étaient restés dedans et n’avaient pas fermé leur fenêtre :p.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à 12h30, on a eu un peu de mal à rallier notre auberge : le 1er taxi qu’on a croisé a refusé de nous emmener, et le 2ème nous a posé strictement n'importe où -_-‘. Néanmoins, ça nous a permis de traverser une partie de la vieille ville, composée de charmantes petites rues, avant de rallier notre destination, le Panba Youth Hostel. Là, on a été accueilli par une chinoise qui parlait français, et ça nous a tellement surpris qu’on ne l'a pas compris au début ^^.

Pour l’après-midi, balade dans la vieille ville, très jolie, classée à l’Unesco et entièrement dans un style ancien (mais rénovée/agrandie récemment). Il était très agréable de s'y promener, difficile de s'orienter à l'intérieur tant les rues étaient tortueuses, mais parfaite pour flâner sans but précis. Néanmoins beaucoup de monde (alors qu'on n’était même pas le week-end !), et au final la majorité des boutiques vendent la même chose, donc la balade peu devenir un peu redondante.

Alors il faut savoir qu’il existe un pack à 80 yuans (pas de tarif étudiant !) censé donner accès aux plus beaux sites de la ville, mais comme on n'en a croisé aucun, on a bien fait de ne pas le prendre ^^.

On a continué nos pérégrinations vers la Montagne du lion, séparation entre la vieille ville et la nouvelle, qui pour 15yuan nous permet de grimpé jusqu’à la tour Wanggu, au sommet, qui du haut de son 5ème étage donne un superbe point de vue sur la ville, les montagnes aux alentour et plus précisément la Montagne du Dragon de Jade au nord (5595m d'altitude !). La colline nous aura aussi bien fait rêver pour ses traductions françaises des panneaux, cf photos !

Le soir, retour à l'auberge et repas dans un resto lambda qui nous a coûté le double de d'habitude pour la même chose... c'est peut-être les 2400 mètres d'altitude de la ville qui gonflent les prix ^^. Bonne nuit !
