I think everything posted made a bunch of sense. However, what about this? what if you were to create a killer title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but suppose you added a title that makes people desire more? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little plain. You could glance at Yahoo's home page and watch how they create post titles to get viewers to open the links. You might add a video or a picture or two to get people excited about everything've got to say. Just my opinion, it could bring your website a little bit more interesting.
